About Dr. Boucher

Zachary Boucher, MD practices general surgery in Lakeland, Florida. He sees patients from the entire Central Florida region. He operates out of Lakeland Regional Hospital, a state of the art 870 bed hospital. He specializes in minimally invasive robotic surgery for the treatment of abdominal hernias, gallbladder disease, colon cancer, all facets of emergency general surgery, anorectal disease, peritoneal dialysis catheter placement, and soft tissue lesions. 

Dr. Boucher received his bachelors degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida where he graduated summa cum laude. He then attended medical school at the University of Florida before completing surgery residency at the University of South Florida. He is a Florida native who is dedicated to his patients. His passion is providing quality and empathetic surgical care. He feels strongly that the advantages of minimally invasive surgery with smaller incisions lead to faster recovery time and fewer complications.
